Pastor Jeff and Pastor Zach walk through the Christmas story with an open Bible and clear eyes. They sort out tradition from text, from the inn vs the upper room, to the manger inside a home, to how many wise men there really were and when they arrived. They talk St. Nicholas the pastor in Turkey, why angels are not said to sing, what apocryphal books like the Protoevangelium of James added later, and why the exact date does not change the gospel. Listener note, there is candid talk about Santa and other traditions, so use discretion with young kids.
