WATER BAPTISMS

HANGING OF THE GREENS
Save the date! If you find joy in Christmas decorating, please mark your calendars to join us as we decorate Main Street at CPC West Lafayette on Sunday, November 30. We will meet on Main Street at 1:30PM. Feel free to help as long as your schedule allows.
MEIJER SIMPLY GIVE
CPC Food Pantry was chosen again for the Meijer Simply Give campaign! This next campaign will run for 13 weeks through December 27! The upcoming Double Match Day will be Saturday, December 13. On this day, for every $10 contributed, Meijer will provide $20, bringing the total contribution for a single customer purchase to $30. We invite you to join our efforts by picking up a $10 Simply Give cards from the Main Street Theater or in the West Lafayette store at checkout.
Thank you to everyone who has participated in this program as the proceeds benefit the CPC Food Pantry as we provide food every Tuesday to local families!
FAMILY DINNER MINISTRY
Our Family Dinner Ministry to Romney Meadows is still going strong and the residents have been enjoying our weekly visits each Thursday this Summer! We started by providing weekly meals and fellowship, but now we see different needs emerging that we would like to help fill.
- Preparing Meals:
- Individuals or couples are needed to help prepare the Thursday meals at the CPC West Lafayette kitchen! The menu and food items are provided, we just need help getting the food prepared and ready for pickup. Typically, the timing needed to prepare is from 2:30-4:00PM.
- $25 Gift Cards:
- These are still an awesome way to provide a tangible gift to the residents! A weekly raffle for a $25 gift card is offered to places that are within walking distance to Romney Meadows like Payless, Dollar General, McDonald's, Papa Johns, etc. If you would like to donate, please bring $25 Gift Cards to the Main Street Theatre.
Please contact Crissy Scheibe if you have any questions, would like more information, or are willing to help serve by tutoring or preparing meals for those in Romney Meadows.
INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP PROGRAM
This program is organized through the Purdue Office of International Students and Scholars. IFP is looking for those in the local community that would be willing to befriend an international student during their first semester here in West Lafayette. Our liaison, Leah Bechtold, is coordinating with CPC and is willing to answer any questions or provide more information. You can email her here to learn more or visit their website here.
