ALL-CAMPUS SERVICE SATURDAY EVENING SERVICE 1.24.26
With the expected winter storm coming in and the uncertainty it brings for Sunday morning, we have made the decision to pivot our in-person gathering from Sunday morning to Saturday night (details below). We understand that not everyone will be able to make it, and that’s totally fine. We think it is safer and wiser to come worship together Saturday evening rather than taking the risk by coming out Sunday morning. Unless the storm is a big nothing burger...which is always possible around here!
For those that can't make it Saturday, we will have the live stream available on the CPC Facebook page and CPC YouTube channel.

2025 GIVING STATEMENTS

SERVE OPPORTUNITY
Help care for our West Lafayette campus! For many years, we’ve been blessed to have a dedicated cleaning staff serving our West Lafayette campus. As part of our 2026 budget reset, we made the difficult decision to reduce one of our part-time cleaning positions. This reset is helping us expand our ministry reach across all our campuses—including Lafayette and our Spanish-speaking campus. Our commitment remains unchanged: to provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment where ministry can thrive.
Our Lafayette campus is already cared for by faithful cleaning volunteers, and now we’re inviting our church family to step in and help serve in the same way at West Lafayette. This is one of the ways we live out our shared responsibility in Kingdom work—through our time, talents, and treasures.
We are looking to cover at least 20 volunteer hours per week, with a goal of 30–40 hours so our maintenance team can focus on larger projects beyond daily cleaning. If you can volunteer in 4-hour chunks of time—once, twice, or even more each week—that would be a tremendous help. After training, scheduling can be flexible.
To be clear, we are not looking for one person to do all the work. This will be a team effort so we can maintain our ministry schedule and ensure our spaces are ready on time for services, classes, and events. In addition to weekly needs, we will also be looking for extra volunteers for special events throughout the year.
If you’re willing to serve in this practical and meaningful way, we would love to hear from you. To volunteer or learn more, please contact the church office.
YOUTH FINE ARTS + KIDS FUN ARTS
Do you have a student/child who loves to be creative? The Indiana District Fine/Fun Arts is for them! Whether they love to draw, sing, or act (and everything in between!) – Fine/Fun Arts is a way to give them space to develop and use their gifts for God’s glory! There will be an informational meeting for parents/students/kids on Sunday, February 1 after service in the Prayer Room. This meeting will be relatively quick and will give you all the information that you need to learn about, register, and prepare for this years’ festival. Fine Arts and Fun Arts will both be held at River City Church in Lafayette on Saturday, April 11.

FAMILY DINNER MINISTRY
Our Family Dinner Ministry that serves Romney Meadows has some new needs:
- Valentine candy that is individually wrapped. Please drop off at Main Street Theatre.
- Bakers! We need people who are willing to bake cookies or brownies for our Family Dinner meals held on Thursdays. Baked items simply need to be brought to the church by 3:30PM the day of our meal. You can email Crissy to be added to future sign ups.
- Family Partners! We need people to work with us at Romney Meadows from 4:00-7:00PM. We serve on Thursdays monthly until the Summer schedule starts. Goals during this time are setting up, serving food and tearing down. These shifts can be split up.
- $25 gift cards to Walmart, Dollar Tree, Payless, McDonalds, Domino's pizza, or Subway. You may give this to Church office or to Roger or Crissy Scheibe.
Please contact Crissy Scheibe if you have any questions, would like more information, or are willing to help serve with this ministry.
